This is not about perfection.
This is about reclamation.
This is about stepping back into yourself.
This is about honouring your strength and your sensuality
Here are some ways you can prepare for your session in a way that honors your body and your story.
1. Come As You Are

You do not need to lose weight.
You do not need to “tone up”.
You do not need to look like anyone else.
Your stretch marks, softness, scars, silver strands? They are evidence of life.
This session is about celebrating the woman you are today.
2. Nourish Your Body Gently and With Intention

In the days leading up to your session:
Drink water
Rest deeply
Move your body gently - stretching, walking, slow breathing.
When your body feels cared for, it relaxes. And a relaxed body photographs beautifully.
Moisturize your skin.
Trim your finger and toe nails or get them done.
Wear the perfume that makes you close your eyes for a second longer.
These rituals aren’t vanity, they are devotion.
3. Choose Clothing That Feels Like Power

Bring outfits that feel like you. That might be lace. It might be a bodysuit. It might be an oversized cardigan falling off your shoulder or your pajamas. It might be nothing but a sheet.
Choose what makes you feel sensual, not what you think you’re supposed to wear.
4. Protect Your Energy

In the days before your session, guard your peace.
Avoid comparison.
Avoid negative self-talk.
Surround yourself with reminders of your strength.
This is sacred time.
5. Release the Fear of Posing

You do not need to know how to move.
You do not need to know your angles.
I will guide you every step of the way: adjusting hands, shoulders, chins, breathing.
You are not performing.
You are simply existing in your power.
6. Allow Yourself to Be Seen

For many women, especially mothers, survivors, women over 35, being seen can feel vulnerable. This space is built for you.
You are safe here.
You are respected here.
You are celebrated here.
